Active driver assist combines intelligent adaptive cruise control with the Stop & Go system and lane centering. The openR screen and head-up display inform you when speed limits change as your drive, using a camera positioned at the top of the windscreen.

With the help of the sensor, the system warns the driver any potential collisions, whether with pedestrians, cyclists, or motorcyclists. It does this by calculating the distance between Renault Rafale and the vehicle in front. The driver can then apply the brakes, but if the system still detects a risk of collision, the brake force is increased. If the driver fails to react, the system applies the brakes automatically.

At intersections, the system calculates the distance between Renault Rafale and oncoming or intersecting vehicles, alerting the driver in the event of a potential collision.
